Noticable scarring on the left side of his face, leaving the muscles there paralyzed. When he speaks, only the right side of his face shows emotion. He is mostly seen dawning nibenese styled robes within major cities.Personality: Absentis Vesanus is characterized by his calm and cautious nature, maintaining composure under pressure and carefully assessing risks before acting. He is hard to trust others, a trait developed from past betrayals, and relies only on proven allies. Despite his caution, Vesanus is easily motivated by calls to action, responding swiftly to threats against himself and his allies due to his strong sense of duty. Absentis Vesanus is a distinguished battlemage known for his unwavering loyalty to County Leyawiin and his service under Countess Caro. His reputation is built on a robust history of military engagements and strategic victories, particularly those involving daedric adversaries.In the aftermath of the Deadlands incursions in the Blackwood region, Absentis Vesanus recognized the need for a dedicated force to safeguard Cyrodiil from future threats. Thus, he founded the Violet Cohort, an imperial-aligned militia with a clear mandate: to prepare for and counter any impending incursions that might endanger the realm.

Timeline

Absentis Vesanus was born Sun's Dusk 27, 552 in Leyawiin. He enjoyed a quiet childhood until he was recruited into the Battlespire at the old age of 16.Absentis Vesanus trained at the Battlespire sometime before Varen's Rebellion. He excelled at Alteration and Conjuration magic. By the time of Varen's Rebellion, he left the Battlespire but fought in a Shadow Legion detachment loyal to Leovic.Absentis Vesanus fought alongside Aldmeri Dominion Mages against the Dark Anchors, ultimately siding with said Alliance in 2E 582. But by the time the Mages and Fighters Guild opened a portal to Coldharbour, he went with them to take the fight to the daedra. What he did or how he got out of Coldharbour is unknown.Absentis Vesanus worked for the Mages Guild around 2E 584 in it's Gold Coast Chapter as a relic hunter and was known to be an Ayleid Architect enthusiast. He left the Guild around 2E 586 for unknown reasons.From 2E 586 to 2E 589, Absentis hired mercenaries around Colovia to assist him in retrieving Ayleid relics.Absentis Vesanus fought in a mercenary militia in response to the Deadlands Incurion within Blackwood on 2E 589. He accompanied a strike team to enter through the Deadlands to close an Oblivion gate from the inside. After the incursion in Blackwood, he founded the Violet Cohort, an imperial militia on standby against another invasion.As of 2E 591, Absentis Vesanus is currently leading the Violet Cohort in Southern Nibenay with the self-proclaimed rank of Palatine.
